About Us
I’m Jarrell Whisken, the photographer behind Elemental Photography, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I specialize in photographing the built environment — architecture, infrastructure, industrial spaces, and the businesses that operate within them.
I work with architects, developers, builders, business owners and corporate teams to create purposeful imagery for marketing, architectural portfolios, and project documentation. My photographs are designed to communicate design intent, craftsmanship, and how spaces function in the real world.
My work emphasizes strong composition, natural light, and a clear sense of place. Many of the projects I photograph go on to receive industry awards, and I’m proud to help document the work and creativity behind them.
